Wedding in a chateau in Bordeaux

Before the wedding

Justine is a great dreamer. Ever since she was a little girl, she had dreamed of getting married. On the confidences of her best man, I even learned that as a teenager, our bride of the day kept a special “D-Day” notebook. She had inserted her ideas for her wedding, photos of her ideal wedding dress, and even the suit her groom-to-be would wear!

A few years later, she would meet Benjamin, who would prove to be the turning point in her life as a young woman. Benjamin’s sensitivity, selflessness and boundless love for Justine quickly made him realize that he would make his lover incredibly happy with a marriage proposal. Well, the other thing is that Justine had not failed, for many months, to pass on the message (waiting, of course, until her finger could finally wear a wedding ring!).

And then the big day arrived. Benjamin had planned the whole thing, even choosing accomplices among Justine’s colleagues to make it look like a business trip to a house near Cap Ferret. Thinking she’s on her way to a business visit, Justine discovers her lover’s surprise, and finally receives his (long-awaited) marriage proposal!

I then met two kindred spirits, two luminous people with hearts of gold! I also discovered a bride-to-be full of doubts, always striving to achieve a perfect wedding that would please all her nearest and dearest. After months of discussions, advice, an engagement session at the foot of Dune du Pyla, and lots of laughter, we arrived on Saturday, September 10, 2022, on the day of their wedding in Bordeaux!

Justine and Benjamin have chosen Château de Seguin in the Bordeaux region, to celebrate their wedding. A 173-hectare estate surrounded by greenery and vineyards, offering accommodation solutions for their loved ones, and a stone reception hall to welcome their 130 guests.

Wedding day – D-Day

Wedding preparations

Our bride and groom chose to get ready on site, at Château Seguin in Lignan-de-Bordeaux, before leaving for their religious ceremony in the center of Bordeaux.

Under a beautiful September sun, I begin this wedding reportage by capturing the atmosphere of the venue, the opportunity to immortalize the small details of this luminous day.

Justine, our bride of the day, was getting ready in a suite, with her witnesses and bridesmaids, as well as Jennifer Degritot her hairdresser, and Emilie de Gang de Nanas her make-up artist.

Across the hall, Benjamin, the groom, and his witnesses were happily getting ready and toasting to a magical day.

For me, as a wedding photographer, this is the ideal configuration! It was a great opportunity for me to create a photo report slaloming from one atmosphere to another! It’s a nice surprise for you, when you see your wedding photos, to see what happened, on both sides, during the only part of the day when you weren’t together!

In the final minutes of preparations, the emotions of Justine, our beautiful bride, were palpable…

Justine presented herself to her daddy with a pretty bouquet from Bordeaux florist Floralement Votre, and a beautiful Pronovias wedding dress.

I’ve always had a particular love for the emotion of this loving moment between father and daughter.

Religious wedding ceremonies in Bordeaux

They chose to celebrate their wedding at the Temple du Hâ in downtown Bordeaux. A gentle ceremony, rich in emotion and love.

Wedding Vin d’Honneur

We’re off to continue the wedding festivities at Château de Seguin in Lignan-de-Bordeaux.

Between a few gourmet bites from their wedding caterer, Philys Traiteur, the vin d’honneur was a great dose of emotion thanks to the musical ambience of their DJ, Rudy from Alegria, and the moving speeches by the bride and groom’s parents, a moment full of love and happiness!

The vin d’honneur is already drawing to a close, and our bride and groom have opted for an outdoor wedding dinner under a starry sky (led garland by NPA event a wedding decoration and furniture rental company), an elegant and magical atmosphere that will have amazed all the guests.

As a great lover of string lights, I’ve always thought that they make a great contribution to creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere for your guests, while also contributing greatly to the result of your wedding photo reportage.

To kick off the evening, Justine chose a new outfit, with a gorgeous bridal jumpsuit by Meryl Suissa!

After much discussion, the bride and groom sincerely wanted to mark the start of their evening with an energetic and magical entrance! They chose to make an entrance, creating a hedge of honor with fifty sparkling sparklers!

The couple session

Their testimony full of Love after discovering their reportage

“My wife found Coralie on Instagram. We exchanged a few messages, then made a few calls. Coralie is one of those people who genuinely cares about the people in front of her.
We had a shoot before the big day. We arranged to meet at Pyla Dune, and the result was WAOUUUUH. We’re not very comfortable in front of the lens… Coralie made the moment magical, even bringing Justine to tears.

And then the big day arrived, and the photo magician struck again. Everyone loved Coco: she kept a low profile and made herself heard in the middle of the crowd.

Thank you Coralie, for taking such good care of us and listening to us. Your photos are incredible.
you make us want to create other events just to be in your presence.

We recommend you a billion times over.

Justine & Benjamin”
